Backed by more than 40 years of experience, Bruce M. Klein has provided high-quality health care consulting services to clients throughout New York. At The Russell Friedman Law Group, LLP, Attorney Klein is the partner in charge of the firm's consulting and compliance team.
Attorney Klein’s extensive knowledge regarding no-fault laws has been sought by various organizations and associations over the years. At the firm, he represents health care providers and carriers in no-fault regulation cases. In fact, he played an instrumental role in our firm’s work in obtaining clarification from the NYS Department of Financial Services that UB-04, the standard hospital billing form, is a bill in no-fault. With his help, our firm also established that an ER bill cannot delayed for the receipt of Form NF-2.
A member of the Nassau Bar’s Health and Hospital Section, Attorney Klein has presented on a number of topics, including “The Relationship Between No-Fault Insurance, Compliance, and Revenue Cycling.” He has presented to both hospital executives and the state regulator on this issue, as well as other no -fault issues affecting the public.
Attorney Klein continues to provide insight on current and proposed no-fault regulations, as well claims practices affecting the hospitals of the state of New York. He was an active member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society and during this tenure, he was also a featured speaker to industry groups, as well as the Long Island Association.
