The Russell Friedman Law Group, LLP is proud to have sponsored the 30th Anniversary Korean American Youth Foundation (KAYF) Gala. Since its founding in 1993, KAYF has been one of the most prominent organizations for underserved youths from Korean immigrant families. It has gained a positive reputation nationwide, especially for its We Are Future Leaders (WAFL) flagship program, which connects Korean American youths with resources, educational opportunities, training, and more, all to prepare them for life’s challenges and achievements. This year’s WAFL program enrolled 72 students in 11 states, as well as a few members from Korea.

The 30th Anniversary KAYF Gala was hosted on Thursday, November 9, 2023, and brought together an amazing group of influential community members and supporters. The keynote speaker was Dr. Richard Park, who you might recognize as the Co-Founder and CEO of CityMD. A special performance by Shukri Trio made the night one to remember, as did the awards presentation, live auction, “Support the WAFL Camp” pledge event, and more.
Our team from The Russell Friedman Law Group, LLP shares the values of the Korean American Youth Foundation, so it was only natural for us to act as one of its sponsors. We believe in empowering students to achieve their dreams, fostering a strong sense of identity in them, and helping them build their communities toward brighter tomorrows.
